Welcome to the Old Greenwich School PTA! The purpose of the OGPTA is to provide an organization in which parents and teachers can work together to enhance our student’s learning experience at Old Greenwich School.
The PTA funds raised with the help of our generous donors are used for enrichment programs for our students and teacher grants for our classrooms. Our PTA volunteers are invaluable to the organization of curriculum enrichment for all grade levels, field trips, assemblies and enhanced learning opportunities. In addition to providing our students with these wonderful benefits, we provide our families with important communications throughout the year, host social events for the families in our community to get to know one another and access to an online directory.
Please go to the “What We Do” tab to see a full list of our enrichment programs, fundraisers, special programs and the communications available to our community.
The OGPTA is a part of the Greenwich PTA Council (PTAC) an umbrella organization formed by the fifteen PTAs of the Greenwich Public Schools. PTA Council's main roles are to coordinate PTA efforts and programs, to advocate with a unified voice, to facilitate communication, to interface with outside organizations such as the school system administration and town authorities, to be the liaison for the state and national PTAs, to promote cooperation and sharing of information, and to provide training and support.
