Student Programs

The PTA runs several before and after school programs for students. Click below for more information and to register.  
 

  • Early Birds: Housed in the Media Center, Early Birds has been refreshed for the 2026–27 school year! Begin the day with teacher supervised fun, educational games and activities. Head off to class relaxed and ready to learn!
  • Morning Enrichment ELA & Math: A focused, small-group program that sharpens ELA and math skills before school. Perfect for students who enjoy academic challenges and a purposeful start to their day.
  • Homework Club: A supportive, fun space where students complete homework with help from 5th grade teacher, Ms. Amanda Doyle (nee Kocot). Upon completion of work, students will have access to fun educational games.
  • Afters: The OGS PTA partners with Your After School to provide a rotating lineup of fun clubs and activities—like sports, arts, and special interest groups—designed to enrich each student’s after-school experience. We run a Fall, Winter 1, Winter 2, and Spring session. Classes are run by a combination of OGS, GPS teachers and outside providers.
